A Hot Evening at West Fest
August 15, 2008 was HOT, really hot... about 100 degrees. The heat didn't slow the enthusiasm of the 1960's rock legends Qucksilver Messenger Service and It's a Beautiful Day. The music started at 6:30pm and wrapped up about 10:00 pm.
There was plenty of barbecued salmon, concessions, and beverages for the audience, which was estimated at about 1,000. The weather definitely affected attendance which was down from 2,500 the previous year.
